It was great fun, but not as much as last year's for me. Last year there was a drum circle & the dancers just got out & danced. It was so much fun!
This year there was a band, Global Repercussions & a sound system in the fountain area. There were scheduled performances. It was neat seeing the performances and performing, but it was not nearly as fun as having the drum circle. Ah well, so it goes. I am not sure whether it was better or worse for the audience.
The fire dancers have always been scheduled & have been so cool to watch every year. I enjoyed watching them again this year. I was glad Patika made it back in time to perform.
We all wore our new rip skirts, made by Lori. She came up with the idea after the Zoe perfomance last Dec. They are SO cool! Carmen dressed as a fairy, so did not wear hers.
Off to a family function. Ugh. I am missing a really neat Solstice celebration with my women's group for this. Rrrr.
